ERGO is an independent analytical and research company engaged in economic, institutional and social research with a special focus on Uzbekistan and other countries of Eurasia. ERGO supports socio-economic reforms in Uzbekistan by conducting high-quality, relevant, evidence-based academic and sectoral research that uses the most modern research methods. ERGO's research projects are aimed at closing knowledge gaps and making important policy decisions.
WHAT
The ERGO team conducts cutting-edge theoretical and quantitative research on economic, socio-economic and institutional issues affecting countries in the regions of Europe and Asia. ERGO offers research that includes policy advice based on primary and secondary data, using precise theoretical foundations.
AS
ERGO fosters collaboration between scientists, experts, government agencies and private sector professionals both in the aforementioned regions and around the world. Our scientists work together and in partnership with research institutions and universities in developed and developing countries, as well as national and international development organizations, actively promoting scientific, academic and professional cooperation. In practice, this is achieved through joint research projects, policy papers, consultations, round tables and forums.
WHY
ERGO's main goal is to add depth, breadth and understanding to the existing research and development in the region, in the long term, carrying out discussions on the socio-economic development of countries in the regions of Europe and Asia and providing an objective basis for decision-making at various levels.
