Abstract: This research note aims to offer novel evidence on the factors predicting tourism flows to Uzbekistan. We estimate the gravity model for the tourism arrivals to Uzbekistan from 169 nations that span from 2005 to 2018. In line with extant research, the results suggest that market size and common borders positively impact tourism arrivals. In contrast, transportation cost is a significant barrier to international tourism flows to Uzbekistan.
